Police have identified the woman who died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash Tuesday on Highway 19 near Nahala Street in Hilo as 22-year-old Micaila Tellio of Hilo.
Police have identified the woman who died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash Tuesday on Highway 19 near Nahala Street in Hilo as 22-year-old Micaila Tellio of Hilo.
Tellio’s death is the 21st official traffic fatality this year compared to 12 at this time last year. There are also four vehicle-related fatalities this year police don’t count toward the official total because two occurred on private property and two in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
